Code 504 Frame Swap ALMOST complete! First start, a new bumper, and fitting the bed!

It has been a long time coming for an update on the Code 504 S10 frame swap project but we've gotten a lot done in the past few months! In our previous video we set the 1953 Chevy truck cab down on the new prepped frame with the engine and transmission already fitted. Now we get a brand new chrome bumper from LMC truck installed, drop the bed back on the frame, and turn the key for the first time!

There are a LOT of steps to this project, and lots of little painful experiences along the way. In previous videos we have shown you many of these challenges you may run into if you are doing this type of project yourself at home. Finally though, we are getting to see the light at the end of the tunnel with this custom hot rod truck! Our customers are also starting to get very excited this thing is ALMOST finished!

In addition to fixing the bed, and getting the motor fired up, we handled installation and programming of the EZ-TCU controller to manage the shifting of our 4L60E transmission as well as wrapping up the exhaust and rear brakes. Even with all of the major work done there's still a lot of little stuff to do, and you never know where that next challenge is or what will pop up!
