**UPDATE FOR THE UPDATE** Before this video was even finished uploading to YouTube I received a reply from WestCreek (incredible). Here is what they said, Hello Dave,
"Yes, the short frets is intentional. For your JX-50 guitar with round end frets, it is ok about hand up and down moving feeling on both fretboard sides, and the playing high and low E string is also ok.
And I also noticed your and other customer's suggestions, and we will make frets longer in the future on next batch.
You are welcome, solving customer problems is what our brand should do.
