Elegant Clock Interactive Card using TEXTures | Charisma Crafts

If you are looking for a simple but yet effective card for her or him, this is the perfect tutorial for you! The Clock with Hands Die Set of the unique Steampunk Collection from TEXT{ures}, designed by Lou Collins, is super easy to use and will allow you to make cards in no time!

A form of nostalgic futurism, the Steampunk collection has been developed by using a lot of visual descriptions, especially machinery, such as vintage clockwork, typewriter and more.

For this tutorial, we decided to go simple and elegant by combining different tones of blue in a pastel pink and gold card. You can decorate your clock with the colours you like and personalise it for your friends and family.

Step by Step:

1. Cut your cardstock base in a circle shape with two tabs on the top and bottom sides. Then fold it in half, this will give you a simple and half shape of a semicircle with a tab in the bottom. These tabs will be used to keep the card stand up.
2. Cut all the pieces you desire from The Clock with Hands Die Set. We have used different colours. For the largest piece, we chose gold and the rest of the pieces are in different tones of blue. This will give contrast to your card.
3. Glue all the pieces together. Due to the different sizes and colours we have chosen, this will create a layered effect.
4. Then, make a hole in the centre and the hands of the clock. Add a brad to give movements to the hands.
5. Finally, add a sentiment you like and the clock interactive card is done!
