👋🏻 HI, I'M ALEX.
I'm so glad you are here! I'm a real person with a real wedding dance studio, located in Charlotte, NC. I've been teaching wedding dance lessons since 2014 and started making online tutorials in 2019 when I was pregnant with my first baby.

🤷🏻‍♀️ WHY BEGINNER-FRIENDLY ONLINE TUTORIALS?
I created these tutorials in order to fill a niche in the online wedding dance choreography world that was lacking in SIMPLE, NATURAL, ACTUALLY BEGINNER-FRIENDLY WEDDING DANCES without all the stuffy, awkward, ballroom-y, this-is-clearly-a-performance stuff that's currently out there. This dance is for parents who want to look and feel natural and relaxed during the wedding dance without overcomplicating things.

I've taught thousands of students privately over the years and I know what the average beginner can learn and what they will struggle with. If you are a beginner and choose to enroll in an online wedding dance tutorial, please choose one that is designed with beginners in mind. This will save you so much stress and frustration during an already very stressful time of your life.

My tutorials don't just throw you in the deep end learning choreography without understanding the steps and techniques that you are putting together. Tutorials that are designed that way would require lots and lots of time to learn and perfect, especially if you aren't having any private lessons to help you figure it out. Learning to dance should be fun and stress-free!

✅ WE'LL BREAK IT DOWN JUST LIKE A PRIVATE LESSON
You will learn every step from the ground up, as if you were in a private wedding dance lesson. Everything is explained multiple ways in various formats (video, audio, written info, etc.) so you can learn the techniques in the way that YOU learn best. Not everyone can just watch a video and then copy it easily or correctly. If a tutorial you are looking at ONLY has videos, you're probably going to be watching that video 100 times, trying to break down and understand all the details yourself.

⌚ LEARN & PRACTICE QUICKLY IN JUST A FEW SHORT HOURS
Most of my tutorials can be completed in about 2-3 hours, including built-in practice time! (You'll still need to continue practicing leading up to the wedding day, of course.) The only way to look and feel natural is by actually doing the steps. I will hold you accountable for that so you can accomplish what you set out to do.
