We headed off from Tomahawk around 3pm and pushed through some pretty wild weather on the way out to the islands. The plan was to get in for a cray dive, grab a feed and see what the day threw at us.
The visibility wasn’t the best and the crays were hiding deep, so the dive was a bit slow… but the trip was far from over. Out of nowhere we hooked into a BIG gummy shark and the whole day turned around. We also cooked up fresh fish and chips on the boat, and finished the morning with bacon and eggs overlooking the islands – unreal.
