Mihamba was written by our very own Sinhala Drama teacher, Mrs. Wasana Doolwala Dharmadasa and highlights the beauty of Mother Earth through the eyes of an artist who recalls his journey as he traveled with "Apsaras" who invited him to the heavens where he can lead a life of opulence and idyllic time. However, he recalls that he misses the beauty of the earth, which is full of verdant trees, plants, flowers, fauna, rivers, waterfalls and mountains and returns to Mother Earth, which he finds more magnificent and invaluable than the heavens.
The dance drama illustrates the value of the earth and the scenes depict heaven, peaceful villages and the tranquility of our beloved school, Ladies’ College. We invite our LC Community to watch our talented students.
