Happy June everybody and happy 75th Scenic Run! Thank you to all you loyal viewers. As a bonus for this run, you'll be introduced to my new dog and running partner Hana. The first of many Scenic Runs with her.
Typically by this time in San Diego the sun is in full swing, but not this year. We've had a nice cool overcast Spring. It won't last much longer. This scenic run is a quick and easy 3 mile loop in an affluent part of Chula Vista. The run starts at the community pool and takes a easy incline up Woods Drive where you'll run under tree canopy most of the way while passing all the fancy gated mega-mansions . After that the run heads down the Centennial Trail where on one side you have views of Proctor Valley and the the Upper Otay Reservoir. On the on the other side you have glimpses of the mansion's backyards.
