Technology has made global communication possible, but paradoxically it has also given us the illusion of human connection. Loneliness is the epidemic of today’s world.
In a staggering talk, Daniel Caramujo demonstrates how loneliness affects each stage of our lives, and particularly how it has affected his own. Daniel is a student at Lisbon's Catholic University, attending his last year in a major in psychology. He is passionate about the subjects that psychology teaches him and was never the social being, with his days mostly occupied with swimming practices, that he later dropped out due to injuries, studying and travelling.
