1970s OTIS goods lift, original - but strictly no personnel :(

Found this Otis goods lift near to where I live - never thought a lift would exist in this small industrial estate and never noticed it before. Big surprise when it worked!
Must have been installed in 60s or 70s.
Sorry guys, if I'd made eye contact with anyone who came out in this small industrial estate, then I'd had to explain "why I was in the goods lift". The signage "strictly no passengers" is easy to see!
I don't want to stand out as "weird" and not sure these guys would understand the real reason! ...probably the guy sitting behind my car would go back inside and everyone will be at the window gorping at me :/
There was also a guy from the car place next door who started to come over.
I went here a few weeks before. The same guy was 'on the ball' and watching where I was going back then also. SOOO, didn't hang around any longer for those shaft photos!
Still, lucky to have had that small window of opportunity to get in there in the first place unchallenged.
If I'd had a key to operate it, think I might have ignored all the warnings!
