The difference between winning and losing bunch sprints in races like the Tour de France can be centimetres, so, it goes without saying that everything needs to be as close to perfect as it can be. A great leadout is how a pro team preserves their sprinter's chances right up to the final hundred or so metres. And, there's a lot more to a leadout than you might think – it's not just about smashing it. We joined forces with Heinrich Haussler, 2015 Australian champion, to find out a bit more about the perfect sprint leadout.
