After riding the Durango & Silverton train, I met one of the men who work in the machine shop named John who offered to give us a tour of their shop. This was a great opportunity to see their roundhouse, machine shop, welding shop, and restoration areas. I really enjoyed our visit and they have a lot of wonderful big machines. I highly recommend anyone who enjoys train, riding trains, and enjoys visiting Colorado to visit the Durango & Silverton Railroad for a ride! It's awesome!
