1. User EXEC Mode (User Mode) – यूज़र मोड
Basic commands run करने के लिए।
जैसे कि system info देखना, ping test करना।
Access: Limited, configuration नहीं कर सकते।
Example Commands: ping, show version
यह सबसे basic mode है। इसमें केवल डिवाइस की जानकारी देख सकते हैं, कोई configuration change नहीं कर सकते।

2. Privileged EXEC Mode (Enable Mode) प्रिविलेज मोड
Advanced commands और configuration mode में जाने के लिए। Full access मिलता है system commands और troubleshooting के लिए।
Example Commands: show running-config, reload
इस मोड में आप router/switch के advanced commands चला सकते हैं और configuration changes के लिए आगे जा सकते हैं।

3. Global Configuration Mode – ग्लोबल कॉन्फ़िगरेशन मोड
Router के पूरे system की configuration करने के लिए।
Interface, routing, hostname आदि सेट करने के लिए।
Router# configure terminal
Example Commands:
hostname Router1
interface GigabitEthernet0/0
ip address 192.168.1.1 255.255.255.0
इस मोड में router के सभी configurations किये जा सकते हैं।

4. Line Configuration Mode – लाइन कॉन्फ़िगरेशन मोड Console / VTY / AUX

Prompt: Router(config-line)#
Console या VTY Telnet/SSH access के लिए settings करना।
Password, login और access protocols set करने के लिए।

line console 0
password cisco
login
इस मोड का use करके आप console या remote login access configure कर सकते हैं।
