President-elect Rodrigo Duterte offered Ms. Gina Lopez, the Chairman of the ABS-CBN Lingkod Bayan Foundation, the position of DENR Secretary in a courtesy call at the Presidential Guest House in DPWH Panacan Depot, Davao City.
Ms. Lopez came with Norie Garcia, Will Harper, Pat Varias and Jun Baclay and began their meeting with the President-elect at 5:23 pm. At 6:15 pm, President-elect Duterte announced his offer to Ms. Lopez.
Ms. Lopez is yet to announce her decision regarding the offer.
