In celebration of Bastille Day, which is France’s National Holiday (Fête Nationale), Alliance Française asked me to create a delicious treat, and I chose to make my Bastille Day Trifle! I arranged the berries and whipped cream to evoke the colors of the French flag, but this is a summer dessert that can be decorated any way you like — it is a perfect opportunity to get creative! It’s easy to find the components to create all kinds of French flavors right from your local grocery store. À votre santé!
