RARE SAAB 2000!! Air Charter Express landing and departing Montreal/Mirabel (YMX / CYMX)

My first time catching this rare aircraft type!

Air Charters Express (part of the Freight Runners Express company) has recently started operating from Montreal/Mirabel (YMX) flying employee shuttle flights on behalf of Airbus between their Mirabel (Quebec) and Mobile (Alabama) sites. Both Mirabel and Mobile have Airbus factories were the A220 is produced. Although the main production is in Mirabel, many U.S airlines A220's are built in Mobile.

Air Charter Express often parks at Mirabel's main FBO (Helibuelle), before or after the shuttle flight. After the contract from Mobile is completed the aircraft is ferried back to the U.S.

Air Charter Express operates an interesting fleet of 3 EMB-120ER's and 6
Saab 2000's. Despite the Saab 2000 being significantly larger than the EMB-120, they both carry only 30 passengers in a full economy layout. The reason for this is that the Saab 2000 has an incredible 51" of pitch between seats, that is fantastic leg room!

The Saab 2000 is a high speed turboprop airliner built to carry up to 60 passengers. The aircraft was developed from the successful Saab 340, but unfortunately this larger version failed with only a total of 63 built between 1992 and 1999. Currently, only 27 Saab 2000 are active with 6 of them being owned by Air Charter Express who is the largest civilian operator of the type.
For reference, Saab built 459 340's during its production between 1983 to 1999.
