I really wanted to make this work, but I do not have enough knowledge on this subject so I must learn more. This is life... sometimes successful sometimes we fail. This way I learned that a VFO cannot replace a crystal unless there will be modifications done to the transmitter / transceiver circuit. So the information I had regarding the replacement of a crystal with a VFO and no other modifications was clearly wrong. I could call this "Myth Busted" (ha).
