Sometimes being a midwife means doing whatever it takes to serve our mamas and babies, even when Mother Nature has other plans. Praise God for the ended we hoped for and a chance to continue serving our clients. Today was one for the books at The Natural BirthHouse. From blocked bridges, alarms going off and freezer temps, we conquered the day with a blow dryer in hand, but it felt like we just faced one challenge after another. Just when we thought we’d have to switch entirely to homebirth, a miracle happened— our efforts succeeded and our hot water kicked in literally at the last moment!
In today’s video, I share the highs and lows of the day as they happened LIVE from our Instagram and Facebook Stories. Today was a day of incredible teamwork…and a special shout out goes out to my husband, Radim, who made this all possible for our birth center.
