I was listening to some Portishead last night. Something I haven't done in a while. Forgot how much I liked the band.

Anyway, this was me messing around a little with one of their best known tracks: 'Glory Box'. Taken from their superb 1994 album 'Dummy'.

It's only a short for today, because I didn't have much time. But that bassline is seriously mean and moody; and since it's been raining here for about 7,000 years, it suited my temperament.

Incidentally, the piece is in Eb. My effort was not a cop-out, but for some reason in my head I'd heard it in D. So much for perfect pitch, eh? :[
