Update Sept 2018: This seems to still be getting views but I have since been through a Kemper and now Helix since the FX8 - however - if you want to use FX with your real amp - this is still a fantastic bit of kit.
I got the FX8 a few weeks ago and have learned a lot in that time! I had it all set up and used it at rehearsal but noticed my sound was a bit dark and the reverbs were too strong. I set up again tonight and did a few wee tweaks and tamed it a bit!
Gigging with it for the first time on Saturday at The Jam House in Edinburgh - no pressure! :D
I have a core sound set up in one preset and the sounds in this vid are all from that one. The scenes are set to switch channel, put on GEQ and switch between reverbs and delays for lead and rhythm.
As well as this I can add in a Tubescreamer or EP Booster style option,switch between delays or bring in the EQ all by pressing a footswitch.
I know the gain channel is quiet but it was 10pm and when the solo boost was kicked in it just went too loud :D
