Hiking Ireland: the Ballyvaughan Wood Loop, County Clare - Abandoned!

Emily and I head to North Clare to walk the Ballyvaughan Wood Loop. It's a fantastic family trail that we've walked before, but on this occassion, the weather just got too much for us.
We were about 2km in (and still a long way short of the ice cream shop) when the rain came and showed no sign of budging for the rest of the day. So we bailed and took our chances along the busy road back to Ballyvaughan.
Sometime, putting on your waterproofs and splashing about in the rain can be fun, especially when there'a hot chocolate not too far away...
