This is a K98K German Dress Bayonet, Maker Mark Eickhorn in Soligen , Germany. The Maker Mark is a 1936 style . Solingen is known as the blade capital of Germany . The Dress Bayonet was for “ walking out” , going on leave and for parades. These where not combat style bayonets . The black leather frog is the short , 4 rivet style . On the back it is stamped Lederwerke Wendelen
Meinsberg RHDL , with a date or serial number which I can’t make out
A correction in the beginning of the video I stated it as a dagger , it is a bayonet , also I stated the frog was from 1935 - 1943 time ,it is from 1935 - 1941
