Thirteen years after one of California's most notable kidnapping cases was solved, Edward Santos Jr., a state parole agent central to the case, is breaking his silence.
On June 10, 1991, an 11-year-old girl, Jaycee Lee Dugard, was taken from the street outside her South Lake Tahoe Home.
For the next 18 years, Phillip Garrido, a convicted sex offender on parole, held Dugard in a backyard hideout, raping her and bearing two children with her.
Now retired, Santos said that he was not allowed to tell his version of the events that led up to arrest of Phillip and Nancy Garrido and Jaycee Lee Dugard's rescue.
