The Pécs Zoo and Aquarium Terrarium is located on the side of Mecsek, in a beautiful environment. It is not by chance that the Zoo uses the phrase "Wild above the city!" slogan, as this is the highest zoo in Hungary.
In the aquarium-terrarium building of the zoo, you can see a rich collection of sea and freshwater fish, amphibians and reptiles, one of the biggest attractions of which is the 100,000 liter shark aquarium. The Zoo has, among other things, calf seals, hippos, white Bengal tigers, brown bears, red pandas, spotted hyenas, Cuban crocodiles, lemurs and many others,
visitors can meet exotic animals.
