The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has made major revelations in its chargesheet in the Police SI examination scam case. According to the investigation, a major deal to print the question papers had been struck from March 2025, with the papers printed in Kolkata and allegedly carried away by the owner of “Silicon”. The findings are part of a 60-page preliminary chargesheet filed against 16 accused.

During the probe, the CBI uncovered shocking details about the manipulation of question papers by Silicon Tech Private Limited Managing Director Suresh Nayak. The chargesheet details how the question papers were altered, bringing out sensational facts related to the scam.

However, the CBI has also raised serious questions over the silence and possible role of the Odisha Police Recruitment Board (OPRB) in what has been described as a massive scam of the century, intensifying scrutiny of the recruitment process.
