Here are instructions how you can construct and sew darts on the back of a shirt, blouse or dress if you want to make it more fitted around the waist area.
There are 5 STEPS for making it:
FIRST - tuck them in on a body figure to see where you want them to be formed, their depth, the beginning, and the end of darts.
SECOND - you need to "open" darts and transfer marks.
THIRD - you need to construct one unified dart on half of the back detail. In the same way how it would be done by tracing them from a pattern.
FORTH - pin darts and sew them.
FIFTH- iron darts towards each other and shrink the baggy area at the top and the bottom of the darts.
