How to Make and Airbrush Glow Paint | DIY Glow Paint Tutorial

🎣 This is a four-minute mastery tutorial for making and airbrushing glow paint.

In this video, we walk through how to make a glow spoon from scratch—and how to mix your own glow paint. Most store-bought glow paints don’t glow very much or very long. That’s because they lack the right quantity and quality of luminescent powder.

We use strontium aluminate, a naturally occurring phosphorescent mineral with photoluminescent properties. It’s not radioactive. The brand we use coats the particles and guarantees none exceed 50 microns in diameter, so they spray cleanly through a 0.5mm airbrush.
