Watchmaker Derek Crane is celebrated in this mini-documentary about his life journey and building his 1000th watch at Vortic Watch Company in Fort Collins, Colorado.

Put plainly, we wouldn't be able to do what we do without him. He's built over 1000 watches for the customers of Vortic Watch Co., and tested and rebuilt nearly as many! Derek is an avid rock climber and talented musician who is integral to many well-known Colorado bands. Always humble, quick to smile, and an absolute wiz in the watch shop. This video gives a little bit of background info on the legendary Derek Crane.
