தேங்காய் பால் சாதம் thengai pal sadham
Ingredients
1. Ghee : 3 tbsp
2. Coconut Milk : 1 cup
3. Cashew nuts : Garnish
4. Cinnamon : 1"
5. Cardamom : 2
6. Fennel seeds : 1 tsp
7. Cloves : 2
8. Green chili :to taste
9. Rice : 1.5 cup , Jeeraga samba preferred
Method
1. Soak rice in 3 cups of water for at least 30 min
2. Add Ghee to a hot pot add dry garam masala (#4 to 7) and green chili and cook for a min
3. Reduce flame and add cashew
4. Add rice and water and bring to a boil.
5. Add salt to taste
6. Simmer for 10 min
7. Add coconut milk
8. Cook covered for 2 whistles
