I was doing a replacement of the thermostat housing AGAIN when I noticed the heater control valve was a little wet with coolant. There will be a video of the thermostat housing replacement with some added mods, so stay tuned for that.
The hoses attached to the heater control valve can take some time to remove due to the quality of the hoses themselves or the amount of time they have been installed to the valve. The installation is actually really easy once you take the old valve out. I did this replacement because I saw the valve a little wet and didn't feel like waiting for it to leave me stranded in the future.
Note: If you are only replacing the heater control valve, simply add the coolant back and bleed the system.
