「京都国際映画祭２０１７」で特別招待作品として上映された、映画「火花」（１１月２３日公開）の舞台あいさつが１５日、京都市内で行われ、主演の菅田将暉（２４）が駆けつけた。

　お笑いコンビ「ピース」の又吉直樹（３７）が芥川賞を受賞した同名小説を映画化。菅田は、主人公の売れない芸人若手芸人を演じた。

　俳優として大活躍中の菅田は、この日の朝まで韓国・釜山にいたという。「第２２回釜山国際映画祭」に出品された主演映画「あゝ、荒野」の舞台あいさつを前日（１４日）に同所で行ったためで、同舞台あいさつのために、この日の午前便で関西国際空港に到着したのち、会場がある京都・祇園までヘリコプターで駆けつけるという強行スケジュールになってしまったという。

　菅田は「きょう、ボク、釜山で目を覚ましたんですけど、何とか（京都に）来なきゃと思って…」と話すと、同席していた板尾創路監督（５４）から「スターやな！トム・クルーズか、横山やすしや！！」と“スターぶり”を突っ込まれ、笑いが起こった。
