When the Germans made the V-1 flying bomb, little did they know that within just a couple of months of their first use, the U.S would have a copy ready to go and if it weren't for the issue of shipping thousands of them taking up valuable space on the convoys they could have been used in Europe against Germany. But what they did do was to kick start the guided missiles that became the Tomahawks of today, this is the story of how they did it.
