The Invasion of Grenada was a US intervention in Grenada during the year of 1983- due to a socialist revolution against a socialist Prime Minister (2x the amount of socialism!) It can be debated if it was acceptable or not, with most of the world condemning it at the time, but it was extremely successful for the US Military, allowing them to get out of the Vietnam Slump that they had been in.
I had to search for a bit to find this archival footage, hopefully it's good!
