We bring you our very own delightful string quintet arrangement of Domenico Modugno's Volare (Nel blu, dipinto di blu) - winner of the 1958 San Remo festival and Italian entry for the Eurovision Song Contest in the same year. This catchy tune stays with you for a long, long time and is one of those songs that just makes you smile! No wonder it spent 5 consecutive weeks on the top of Billboard Hot 100, won Billboard song of the year, and during the very first Grammy Award ceremony in 1959 also won both Record of the Year and Song of the Year!
