This is the last "remaster of a remake" for this batch, trust me!
Denial was one of the first boss designs I made for the game alongside Lies (who you've seen less of). I used to doodle monsters in my free time whenever I felt sad, or angry, and eventually I came up with this spiky-headed guy wearing a suit reminiscent of a bodyguard/bouncer.
He serves as the game's first boss, mainly inspired by the fact that denial is commonly known as the first stage of grief.
