When HRP joined the Farmington Valley Relay for Life, we wanted to make our fundraising count. For Tom Simmons, that meant one bold promise – if he raised $1,000 for cancer awareness and research, he’d shave his head. Thanks to incredible generosity, the goal was smashed, and the clippers came out.

With team captain Brian “Bubba” Bolio on shearing duty, the first stripe was cut… and there was no turning back. What started as a fun dare became a moment to remember – for the cause, for the laughs, and for everyone who’s been impacted by cancer.
