Neal Bredehoeft wears many hats in the agriculture industry. He has run his family’s century-old farm, Bredehoeft Farms Inc., in Alma, Missouri, with his two brothers and nephew since returning in the 1970s. He also currently serves on the United Soybean Board and the farmer advisory board for Farmers for Soil Health.
His operation has incorporated soil health practices since the mid-1950s, when his father implemented terracing. Hear Neal’s experience using cover crops as a tool to manage soil erosion, boost soil organic matter and improve his soil’s health.
Head over to FarmersforSoilHealth.com for more information on how cover crops and other soil health practices can benefit your operation and your bottom line.
