How to install Polypipe's Overlay® Underfloor Heating System
Designed for use in both renovation and new build projects, the great advantage of using Polypipe's Overlay TM underfloor heating system is that the pre-grooved, high load-bearing floor panels are only 18mm in depth and can be laid directly over an existing floor.
Because of their nominal 18mm thickness the panels can be simply installed on top of the existing structural sub-floor in a brick like pattern with minimal disruption to floor height. Another benefit is that most floor coverings such as ceramics and natural or engineered timber can be applied directly to the panel.
Polypipe’s Overlay™ boards are routed at 150mm pipe center's offering uniform pipe positioning and optimum heat distribution.
Polypipe’s 12mm ultra-flexible underfloor heating pipe is then run into the pre-formed grooves of the board, which are designed to hold the pipe securely in position.
