Have I mentioned I love Kpop Demon Hunters? 😁 (And so love pairing it with my other obsession 😎😆🥰)

I guess what I like about this song, (besides it sounding awesome and being totally iconic 😁😉) is how relatable it can be. We all know what it's like to feel alone, self-doubt, and wonder if we belong.

"I lived two lives, tried to play both sides but I had to find my own way" - as soon as I heard this I knew I had to make it for Marinette. 😆💖 Or at least that's what I thought I heard and to be honest I was kinda really disappointed when I learned the actual lyrics are "but I couldn't find my own place." 😅

But the message still resonates. Because haven’t we all, at some point, felt like we had to hide parts of ourselves to fit in? Or stayed quiet to avoid conflict? It’s natural to want to belong, but exhausting to feel like you have to perform to be accepted. Yet true friends will appreciate seeing the real you shine. 💛

I’ve always been shy. Not because I didn’t want to connect, but because I didn’t think I had anything worth offering. It was easier to stay in the background and let self-doubt do the talking. But I’ve learned that hiding doesn’t protect you - it just leaves you more isolated.

One of my favorite quotes is from Carrie Fisher (aka Princess Leia 😉):

“I never changed who I was. I just grew more accepting of it.”

Instead of trying to compare or copy others, you can embrace the things that make you unique and appreciate the good things in yourself instead of criticizing and focusing on self-doubt.

Personally, I believe that value comes from something bigger: that God created us, loves us, and made us for a purpose. 💚 You're not a mistake.

The Bible says we’re made in God’s image, deeply loved, and created for connection with Him. But we’ve all messed up (aka sinned), and that sin separates us from God. The penalty for sin is death -not just physical, but spiritual. But that’s not the end.

“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
(Romans 6:23)

Like Gwi-ma in Kpop Demon Hunters, the enemy wants to steal your soul - keep you stuck in shame, lies, distractions. But like Jinu standing between Rumi and the blast, Jesus stepped in to save us. He died in our place and rose again to defeat sin and death - offering freedom, not just from shame, but from the power of sin itself.

“If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”
(Romans 10:9)

This isn’t about being “good enough.” It’s about grace. A gift. No performance, no perfection - just trust. Jesus doesn't just forgive you; He makes you new. 🌿

Even after Rumi’s patterns changed, they didn’t vanish - but they became beautiful. That’s what Jesus can do: transform our scars, our past, into something radiant.

“If anyone is in Christ, they are a new creation. The old is gone; the new has come.”
(2 Corinthians 5:17)

God didn’t abandon the world when it broke. He made a new way through Jesus. Like a healed Honmoon, we can walk in wholeness - until heaven when our patterns and sin nature will truly be gone. ✨

So if you're struggling with shame or feeling like you don’t belong - know this: God wants you. Not a fake polished version. Just you. ❤

This is your moment. You do belong. You do have worth. You can break down those walls and walk in the light of who you were created to be.

No matter how many times I’ve fallen apart, God has never failed to pick me back up. I know He’ll do the same for you, if you let Him. 💕

There will always be voices - your own, others, or spiritual - that whisper, “You’re not enough. You’re broken. You don’t matter.” But those are lies. And you don’t have to believe them.

(As a wise animated cat once said: “Failure is not your enemy - your fears are.” 💚)

It's okay to fail. It's okay to be unsure. But instead of shame, we can acknowledge our faults, learn from our mistakes, and put our trust in a power greater than our own so we can keep shining even when it's hard.

Let your walls fall, put your patterns and your doubts in the past, and finally live like the beautiful, valuable, wonderful person God made you to be. ❤❤✨
