“I've been making electronic music for around a decade, but it only became my main focus about 3 years ago. I'd been laboring at making academic acoustic (modern classical and avant-garde) music for years, with a lot of frustration along the way. At that time a good friend was dealing with cancer, and he passed after a few months. Experiencing that, and talking with him about his experience of it, made me question my priorities. I decided to ignore external pressures for a while and just make the music that I thought would be fun to make and listen to...time is short! What came out was much more emotional, vulnerable, patient music than I'd made before” - BlankFor.ms
