M/S of the Lord Abbot, head of the Anglican community of Benedictine monks, speaking in grounds of abbey. He says all Benedictine monks will regret the bombing of the monastery as it was where St. Benedict wrote the rules, but it is more than justified if it stops more lives being lost.
