2 Week Acrylic Infill On Medium Nails

Hi everybody Welcome to the Kirsty Meakin Show!

In this video we are going to be doing an infill on Annette she has had these little sporty nails on for two weeks now and it's time for a change so here we will be getting them all ready for some fresh autumn artwork lets get cracking!

I’ll start by having Annette clean her hands with Navy Hygiene hand sanitiser and then we are going to push back the cuticles with the Nail Gaga Cuticle Pusher and we will be able to see the true growth of this set over the last two weeks.

Ok next up I'll be using my e-file with my pink Swarovski ceramic bit I'll have my file at around 15 and I’m going to use this just to take off the gel polish.

Now I’ll use my new ceramic sanding bands to prep the natural nail I’ll be using the fine grit today we also do these in a medium grit, these new sanding bands are great because of the ceramic particles that won’t generate as much heat.

Now its time for the Acrylic so I’ll clean over the nails using the Kirsty Meakin Clean Up Solution and then I'll apply the YoungNails Protein Bond I’m using something a little bit different today I have Acrylic powder and monomer from A&A so that’s what we are gonna be using duck.

With my Acrylic down its a time to file so, I’m going to set up my Metal file Board
And I'll start by giving the board a clean using the Navy Tools hygiene system and then on one side I'll stick on a 100 Grit file and on the other I'll use a 180 Grit File then I'll Grab my file filing file and file my files edges ;) just so they don’t cut Annette then I'll just give these a quick go overusing my normal filing routine.

Now I give these nails a buff over using the 120 Grit Buffer give them a dust off, then I'll clean over with my clean up solution and pop a little bit of the Naff Stuff Passionfruit Cuticle Oil and that’s it ducks these are all ready for some new artwork!
