Get off the beaten path more often | Sanetsch Pass🇨🇭| Yamaha FZ6 Raw Onboard [UNCUT]

This is one of the most beautiful roads I've ever driven in Switzerland - Sanetsch Pass (Bernese Alps) with the highest point of the road is at 2,252m/7388ft. It starts in Sion, canton Valais (coordinates below), and leads almost to the top (the border between Valais and Bern cantons) to Lac de Sanetsch, a mountain lake at an altitude of just over 2,000m/6,562ft.

🚦There are several tunnels along the way, one of which is quite long and very dark. Be extremely careful! Inside the tunnels, be very attentive: darkness, wet surface, and suddenly appearing cyclists can create a dangerous situation. Plus, there's an occasional bus 🚌, but luckily, not very often 😅

☕️ At the end of the route, there's a restaurant (Auberge du Barrage du Sanetsch) where you can grab a bite and relax. 🏕️ There are no official campsites nearby, but I saw quite a few campers who stayed overnight. Since the road is in the mountains, it's usually closed from November to April. The best time to go is the warm summer months from July to September.

🔊 I apologize for the sound quality in this video. I haven't found the perfect microphone settings yet, so the sound is a bit muffled. But you'll agree, the stunning views completely make up for it! The sound will be much better in the next videos, I promise (already bought DJI Mic 2). It takes a lot of experimenting to find the sweet spot for Yamaha FZ6 engine and exhaust sound.
