Prelude to my Course on Quine: Syntax, Ideology, and the Machine

This video prelude serves as a metacritical entry point to my upcoming course on W. V. O. Quine, combining autobiographical transparency with philosophical framing. Far from a promotional teaser, the piece functions as a conceptual prologue — articulating both the method and the epistemological stakes of using AI tools in philosophical pedagogy.

I situate this project in the lineage of analytic philosophy, engaging with a questions that could also be "continental": the distinction between neutral syntax and the space where "recognition" and "authorship" develops: ideology.

The setting — my actual editing environment — becomes an extension of the course’s theme: that meaning is not generated by automation, but composed through layers of aesthetic, conceptual, and interpretive labor.
