The Fargo Spelemannslag is a group of about 25 Hardanger Fiddle players and builders based in the Fargo-Moorhead area. This concert at Concordia College celebrates the 200th anniversary of the Restauration ship landing in the USA, bringing America's first Norwegian immigrants. The concert includes traditional music and dancing, as well as historical explanations of why Norwegians moved to Minnesota and North Dakota, what is a Hardanger Fiddle, why so many people build them in the Red River Valley, and it features the debut of a very special community-built Hardager Fiddle: the 2025 Bicentennial Fiddle.
