My first ever Parkrun in Germany at Westpark, Munich

While we were in Germany, I took a break from the Bierhallens and went to a Parkrun on the Saturday morning at Westpark in Munich.

It wasn't far from the centre and took place in the eastern side of the park,. The course was two laps, going around the lake, with a couple of small hills (and they were small!) before finishing uphill from the start point.

I really enjoyed it! The park was really nice, and all the volunteers were very friendly and welcoming. For anyone that wants to do the course but doesn't speak German (which from the start of the video, very obviously includes me!), the course briefing was done in both German and English so that everyone could understand it.

If you're in Munich, I'd really recommend this course.
