This is a great episode. After the aquarium date between Rintaro and Kaoruko, we are back at school, and this time, we see that Shohei, Ayato, and Saku want to go to Rintaro's house for a hangout. At first, Rintaro is worried that he might get picked on just like how he was back in elementary school for having a cake shop, but Saku and the others are impressed, which makes me feel heartwarming. I like that Kaoruko and Subaru also went to Rintaro's house, even though they were only there to buy cake, but Rintaro's mom invited them in, so we got all six of them hanging out at Rintaro's house. This is the moment we get to hear Rintaro's past and how he just gave up on everything, and then the mom is like she also dyed her hair gold because she wants to make Rintaro feel more comfortable since back in the days, the only place that was fun to him was at his house with his parents and big brother. I want to shout out to the mother because she was trying so hard to make Rintaro happy with his friends, and she started to cry when Rintaro said thank you, so Rintaro is blessed with having such a great mom. I want to see the dad and the brother now because they are also important to Rintaro.
