In this video, I’m fixing a big hole in the side skirt on my 1999 Mitsubishi 3000GT using fiberglass. The damage was pretty bad, so a quick patch wasn’t going to cut it. With some guidance and help from my instructor, I used fiberglass mat and resin to rebuild the missing section and get the shape back where it needed to be. After letting it cure, I sanded everything down and prepped it for the next steps. It’s not perfect, but it’s solid again and a huge step forward in bringing this car back to life
