The SEPTA Route 10 originates at the 13th Street Station at City Hall and ends at the 63rd & Malvern loop.
The 36th street portal is where the Route 10 emerges from the subway to operate on the street. It is known as a “subway surface” line.
The other subway surface trolley lines, Route 11, 13, 34 & 36 all use the 40th Street Portal.
The Route 10 has the 36th Street Portal all to itself.
All SEPTA subway surface trolleys eventually end up at the 13th Street station in Center City. It is basically a big loop that runs underneath City Hall.
I hope you enjoy this video. It features the portal as well as some street running around 36th & Market. You will also see some arrivals & departures at 13th Street Station under City Hall.
Thanks for watching!
