The Ultimate Router Table | Woodworking How-To

In today's build video I’m going to show you how to build the ultimate router table. It features plenty of storage with 2 deep drawers, a couple of slide-out trays with space under them for more of your router gear. The cast iron top is a beast and the router lift with its two-speed lift mechanism is going to dial in your cuts perfectly and the fence has the features to keep your shop clean and router cutting straight.

To make this cabinet I used one full sheet of 3/4” cherry plywood, a small portion of 3/4” baltic birch for the drawer boxes and a small portion of 1/4” baltic birch for the drawer bottoms. But 90% of the build will be the one full sheet of cherry ply. The cast iron top, pro router lift, and pro fence were provided to me by Rockler Woodworking.
