483 Years Old Ancient And Historical Sher Shah Suri Mosque In Bhera Sargodha Punjab

In this video we will show you the ancient Sher Shah Suri Mosque which is situated in Tehsil Bhera of District Sargodha. This Mosque was constructed by Sultan Ul Hind Sher Shah Suri 483 years ago in 1540. This building was constructed with small red bricks. A beautiful cistern was built for ablution in the yard of the Mosque which is 12 feet dept. The front part of the Mosque was constructed again and two splendid minarets were constructed. Three domes and doors of arciform shape are build which remind the clustered of Mughal Era. The walls of Mosque are 5 feet thick in which red bricks, cement, clay and stones of wood are used. The doors were made with wood with beautiful carving work was placed on it which relates to see. These old doors are also present today. Beautiful painting is made on the whole building of the Mosque. This Mosque is renovated timely and the ancient beauty of this Mosque is also established till now. A religious school has constructed for children education. A museum has set up along with the entrance of the Mosque in which antiques of ancient period have been preserved. These antiques have the history of Bhera city in it. A small graveyard is situated on the west side of the yard of the Mosque in which the graves of Bugvi’s Ulema scholars are present who served this Mosque in their periods. This Mosque has a big library of Islamic books and there is also a lungar khana and waiting room where the visitors eat and stay without charge. Now this Mosque is not in the custody of Auqaf Department Punjab and the expenditures of this Mosque and religious school depend on the support of public fund. This Mosque is well settled and a large number of people come daily to offer prayers. The people from all over the country come here to visit this Mosque and the tourist from abroad also come here to see this historical heritage.
